Pierre Auguste Cot 1837 - 1883 French Painter Review 5 Stars

Today, I wanted to review three lovely paintings by Pierre Augueste Cot. He was a French Academic painter. He made his fame in the French Salon. He married the daughter of his sponsor. He won many medals and prizes in the Salon. Since he married into a rich family, Cot did not die poor. Anyhow, the first painting is called The Storm. Here a cute Greek couples is trying to escape from the storm. The girl is looking at the Storm. Her lover is focused on his girl. Her frilly transparent dress is extremely pretty. The creepy background works pretty well. This lovely classical painting deserves 5 stars rating.






In this cute painting, we see an adorable girl hiding in the Curtains. She is only clothed by this shimmering white curtain. Judging by her coy smile, she came here to surprise her lover boy. Most maidens do love to give such silly surprises. Her curly brown hair is very pretty. This cute painting by Pierre Auguste Cot painting gets a lovely 5 stars rating.


In this last cute painting, we see a cute Greek couple having a moment. Both are playing in the swing while staring into each other's eyes. This painting represents Spring. Both are young and in love. The flowers are growing around them. Even nature seems to celebrate their love. In any case, this cute painting by Pierre Auguest Cot deserves 5 stars rating.
