Iron Maiden English Heavy Metal Band: 5 Stars Worthy Songs

Iron Maiden is an English Heavy metal Band. For those that do not know, the Iron Maiden was a pretty popular medieval torturing device. As for the band, it was founded in 1975 by Bassist Steve Harris. He is also the leading singer and song writer. The band reached commercial success during the 80s. They have been producing metal records since then. They are still active, even today. They are scheduled to go on tour in the US from September 3rd through the 13th.  They will be playing with Megadeth. I think that is enough info on this band. It is pretty clear that these old timers are still pretty popular.




In any case, the first song worth rating is "Dance of Death". "Dance of Death" was the first song by Iron Maiden I ever heard. This song tells an odd tale. The lyrics are pretty self explanatory. One day, Steve Harris was walking in the Everglades. Out of the blue, he was kidnapped by an undead being. From then on, he went to dance with the dead. See! Its a pretty simple song. The guitar too is pretty normal around the edges. Overall, I found this song to be ridiculously long. Then again, I like my songs to be between 3 and 4 minutes. Regardless, this Iron Maiden song is 5 stars worthy.

The next song worth rating is "Fear of the Dark". Can you guess what this song is about? Joking aside, this is a pretty cool song. The guitar is quite epic. My favorite lines are: Have you run your fingers down the wall/ And have you felt your neck skin crawl/ When you're searching for the light ? Truly, these lines summarize what this song is about. In any case, Iron Maiden's Fear of the Dark is 5 stars worthy.

The next song that I like is the "Reincarnation of Benjamin Breeg". From what I heard, Benjamin Breeg was an artist that was plagued by nightmares. He used to draw his dreams. Before his death he destroyed his artwork. He did not anyone to see into the window of his soul. This song is about that obscured artist. It describes all his visions of hell. The intro of this song was pretty cool. Overall, it was a 5 stars worthy song.

The next song worth mentioning is "Flight of Icarus". The songs describes how Icarus tried to fly using the wings made by his father. However, his winds burned in the sky. The song is pretty self explanatory. The chorus "On your wings like an eagle / Fly and touch the sun" was also pretty cool. Truly, the "Flight of Icarus" is 5 stars worthy Iron Maiden Song.

I think it is time to wrap things up. The last song worth mentioning is "Still Life". It is my favorite Iron Maiden song. The first thing that I like its unique sound of this song. There is a lot tension in each verse. The choruses are a bit odd around the edges. This song is about the occult. The speaker and another person are looking into a pool of water. In there, they see spirits. Overall, the song is pretty cool. Truly, Still Life is a 5 stars worthy song. I hope that you liked these featured songs.

After Earth New 5 Stars Worth Movie Review

After Earth is a new science Fiction movie. It stars Will and Jaden Smith. In the movie, Will Smith’s son plays the son of his character. This movie shows you what Earth is going to look like in a 1000 years. Apparently, in the future, Earth will look like Costa Rica. Most of the movie was filmed in that country. In the plot, one day there was a cataclysmic event. All humans were forced to leave Planet Earth. Without the humans, the place was overrun with animals that had evolved in such a way as to combat human activity. Everything was now hostile to the humans.

Thinking about it, Mother Nature has never been kind to humans. If humans had not developed technology they would not have survived. Are we to live as cavemen, without to fire, to be eaten by lions to preserve Mother Earth? I am simply putting things in perspective. The After Earth movie aims to put things in perspective. It takes up the Environmentalist cause. It shows you a scenario of how Earth will look like a 1000 years into the future.

Seeing the movie over the top, it seems as if they are exaggerating. It makes sense to try to scare people into being eco friendly. However, the evolutionary process of animals tends to take more than 1000 years. Then again, with all the radio activity, it makes sense that animals would mutate into grotesque forms. However, it is more likely that all surface dwellers would die before mutating. 

Overall, the movie is about a father- son relationship. There Will Smith and his son are forced to return to Earth to live the way cavemen used to live. Unlike the cavemen, they have their knowledge and the remnants of old technology to their advantage. They do not need to figure out how to light fire from scratch.

 In the end, it was mankind’s knowledge that helped him rise up in the food chain. After Earth simply shows you what happens to a species that does not have any natural predator to hamper its growth. In any case, After Earth promises to be five stars worthy Eco movie. Frankly, I do not think this movie is going to have any effect.

The Miami Heat vs. the Chicago Bulls Playoff Prognostic 5 Stars Worthy Game

Today, the Miami Heat will face off against the Chicago Bulls. It is the rematch of century. The Bulls was the team that ruined The Heat’s winning streak. Will the Chicago Bulls steal way the Heat’s championship? They say that the Bulls’ defense has been a bit sloppy around the edges. They also have incurred far more injuries. The Heat on the other hand is more refreshed. Their main players were able to rest for the most the playoff. Dwayne Wade is also recovering nicely from his knee injury. He is schedule to play against the Bulls. 

Many Sports commentators think that the Bulls will win. They base their reasoning on the fact that this team has nothing to lose. That is a poor rationale for the Bulls’ victory. Frankly, if the Bulls never gained anything that they might lose, it means that history is against them. Sure, they could cheat their way toward a victory like last time. That game was the Heat lost to the Bull was rigged. Everyone: the fans, the team and the judges were against the Heat. 

There is no point in dwelling in the past. Now things are different. The Heat is the more experienced team. In this basketball season, it has only lost trice. The Chicago Bulls has more losses in this season. They barely made it to the Playoff. Now by some miracle, they are the last team that stands between the Heat and Victory.

Perhaps this rematch was fated. Now the Miami Heat can redeem itself by defeating the Chicago Bulls. The waiting for this game is a killer to the fans. Both the Chicago Bull fans and the Heat fans are full of expectation. This game promises to be quite entertaining. Then again, this is the first rematch game. Anything can happen.

Seether Alternative Rock Band Songs Review

Seether is an alternative rock band. They are from South Africa. They were founded in the year 2000. They gained international fame thanks to their "Broken" song . They sang that song with Amy Lee. It was so popular that it was featured in "The Punisher" movie. Since then, Seether has been pretty popular all over the world. I think that is everything worth mentioning about Seether. Now, I will review 3 songs by Seether that are 5 stars worthy.



The first song worth rating is "Remedy". That was the first song by Seether that I heard. I never really got what it was about. Nor did I care much about the lyrics. I like best the choir "Frail, the skin is dry and pale, the pain will never fail / And so we go back to the remedy / Clip the wings that get you high, just leave them where they lie / And tell yourself, "You'll be the death of me." Frankly, I liked the rhythm scheme of this song a lot. The electric guitar was also pretty cool. Truly, this song is 5 stars worthy.

The next song worth rating is called "No Jesus Christ". The song is about a very stuck up girl. She is consumed by her self righteousness. As such, she is quick to judge the speaker. Aside from the cool lyrics, the rhythm scheme is also pretty cool. My only issue with this song is that it is a tad too long. Regardless, "No Jesus Christ" by Seether deserves 5 stars rating.

The last song worth rating is called with the "Eyes of the Devil". The meaning of this song is a bit odd around the edges. Frankly, I like this song because of the chorus: So run with the eyes of the devil /And keep them in your dreams / If you succumb to the lies of the rebel / You'll cleanse yourself of me. Just these four lines makes this song 5 stars worthy. The Electric guitar also works pretty well. Let us just wrap things up a bit. I hope you like this short rating.

Disturbed American Heavy Metal Band 5 stars Worthy Songs

The Disturbed band was founded in 1996. Originally, it was called Brawl. However, when they acquired a new lead singer, they renamed themselves Disturbed. Overall, Disturbed has released five studio albums. The band broke up in 2011. Now, all members are working on little side projects. I think that is everything worth mentioning about this heavy metal band. Now, I will review their songs.





The first song worth mentioning is "This Moment". I first heard it in the end credits of the first "Transformers" movie. I thought that song sounded pretty cool. Since then, I have been listening to Disturbed. The song is about a guy who is leaving his lover girl. This moment will be the last time he puts up with her. She kept pushing him until he "made you bleed". The chorus part was totally metal. Truly, "This Moment" deserves 5 stars rating. 

The next song worth mentioning is "Perfect Insanity". Needless to say, this song is about being insane. The choruses are one piece of work. The solo too is amassing. My favorite lines are "Leaving me with images that I know are not real/ are those words of condemnation that I hear?" I think that is everything worth mentioning. Truly, "Perfect Insanity" by Disturbed is a 5 stars worthy song.

The next song that I like is "The Game". "The Game" is about an abusive relationship. The lover girl of the speaker enjoys beating him up a lot. He kinda likes it because he is a bit sadistic. He still wonders if she is insane. Anyhow, this song deserves 5 stars rating.

The last song worth rating is "Inside the Fire". This is my favorite song by Disturbed. The song is about a chick named Devin. He wants her to take her place inside the fire with him. Together they will drown their sufferings. I think that is everything worth mentioning about this song. Truly,"Inside the Fire" deserves 5 stars rating. I hope you liked this short music blog.

Godsmack American Metal 5 stars worthy Songs Review

Godsmack is the last band worth rating. Afterwards, I will simply rate a list of my favorite songs. Anyhow, Godsmack was founded by the lead singer Sully Erna in 1995. The band has produced five studio albums. I first heard their music when I rented  "The Scorpion King" DVD. In the DVD, they featured the music video for "I Stand Alone". It was themed around "The Scorpion King". I thought it sounded really cool. Like in the movie, the song was about a guy who was stung by a scorpion. Yet, he was not dying from the venom. My favorite part is the "and now is my time..." lines in the middle. Truly, this song is 5 stars worthy.





The next song worth rating is "Faceless". The song is about a guy who left a very evil chick. She lied to him often. For him, she was faceless. The guitar and the solo are pretty cool. I think that is everything worth mentioning. 5 stars for "Faceless". The next Godsmack song that I like is "Immune". The song starts a bit odd around the edges. Its about being immune to someone. Man, I wanna wrap things up! 5 stars for the rest.

Frankly, I feel like I wanna finish a few things up around the edges. The last song worth mentioning is "Serenity". I heard both the acoustic and the elaborate version. The "Serenity" song is about death. The imagery surrounding this song is pretty cool. The questions in this song also work pretty well.  From all the Godsmack songs "Serenity" is their most unique song. Truly, Godsmack's "Serenity" deserves 5 stars rating. My Favorite Songs by Some Random Weirdos

Today, I wanted to review some of my favorite songs. Each song was sang by a random weirdo. In no particular order, I will start my reviews. The first song worth rating is "She Bop". It was sang by Cyndi Lauper. She is an american singer. She was really popular during the 80s. As for the song, I liked it because it was odd around the edges. The music video was the best. It was about a girl who just wanted to fool around. However, the court said she needed a chaperon. In the end of the video, she dances with her beef cake Broadway style. For such a unique song and music video, Cynci Lauper's "She Bop" deserves 5 stars rating.





The next song worth mentioning is the "Ghost of Tom Joad". I first heard it in the HBO feature presentation of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. It was performed in Madison Square Garden, in 2009. The performance was led by Bruce Springsteen and Tom Morello. The song was about poverty. It described lots of poverty scenes. What I liked was the electric guitar. Bruce Springsteen would play his solo and thes Tom Morello would play his own. I thought is was funny how Springsteen would struggle with his solo. He seemed like he was about to die. In comparison, Tom Morello made guitar playing look easy. Morello did a lot of odd tricks. Overall, the "Ghost of Tom Joad" was 5 stars worthy performance.

Now, let us review "Let's Dance" by David Bowie. What I like best is the "Ah! Ah!" beginning. The song is about a guy who wants to dance with his girl. He wants her to put on her "red shoes and dance the blues". I like best the lines: Because my love for you/ would break my heart in two/ If you should fall/ Into my arms / And tremble like a flower. The solo of this song is also pretty cool. Aside from the song, I like the "Let's Dance" music video. It is about a couple of illegal immigrants that migrated to the US. On the way, they found some red shoes. The girl wore them along the way. However, when they arrive at the border they saw some nuclear testing. That caused them to get disappointed about the US. Angrily, they stomped on the red shoes. For being an 80s music video, it certainly was deep. In any case, "Let's Dance" by David Bowie deserves.

The next song worth mentioning is "Jezebel". It was sang by Frankie Laine. I heard it played on the radio in the Mafia II video game. The song is pretty cool. The title alone tells you much about the song. For those that do not know, Jezebel was an evil queen from the Bible. She was the mortal enemy of Elijah. Needless to say, Jezebel is a bad name for a chick. As for the lyrics, the speaker is in love with a very bad girl. She is a demon without a pair of horns. He compares her to a fallen angel. She deceives him and leaves him blue. I think that is everything worth mentioning. Truly, "Jezebel" deserves 5 stars rating.

Following, we have "Play That Funky Music" by Wild Cherry. I first heard that song in the Evolution movie. It was being sang by Kane and his friends. They were celebrating their triumph over the dragon alien. As for the song, it is about a white guy who discovered Funky music. The song is played around a narrative. My favorite part is the chorus: Play that Funky Music White Boy/ Play that Funky music right... Lay down that Boogie and play that funky music till you die. The electric guitar's rhythm scheme was pretty cool. Truly, "Play that Funky Music" by Wild Cherry deserves 5 stars rating.

The next song worth rating is "The Kill". It was sang by 30 Seconds to Mars. The music video for this song is pretty cool. It is themed after the Shinning. In the end of the music video, the band performed dressed like ghost guys from the 1920s ball. The lyrics too are pretty cool. I like best the lines: I tried to be someone else/ But nothing seemed to change/ I know now, this is who I really am inside. The rhythm scheme of the guitar also works pretty well. In any case, this song deserves 5 stars rating.

The next song that I like is Metallica's "One". The music video was about a veteran who was in paralyzed. At night, he would dream of the war. When his father got near him, he tried blinking in Morse code. He asked his father to kill him. The song itself is just as depressing. Like the music video, it's about a veteran who is paralyzed.  I like best the second half of the song. It is there where the veteran stars having his flashbacks. My favorite lines are "Darkness/ Imprisoning me/ All that I see/ Absolute horror/ I cannot live/ I cannot die/ Trapped in Myself/ My Body Holding Cell. Pretty cool! I first heard this song in Guitar Hero 3. It was pretty hard to win. Truly, One by Metallica deserves 5 stars rating.

The next song worth mentioning is "Push Push Lady Lightning" by Bang Cameron. It is like my theme song. I first heard it in Guitar Hero 2. "Push Push Lady Lightning" was a pretty fun song to play. The lyrics of this song are pretty simple. There is nothing else to it. However, the few lines that it has go well with the song. They are simply pathos for the electric guitar. The solo and the end were really something else. Truly, "Push Push Lady Lightning" deserves 5 stars rating.

The next song is not really a song per say. It is more of a piano piece, but whatever. The song is called "Toccata and Fugue in D Minor" by Johann Sebastian Bach. It is played in the Organ. I like this piano piece a lot because it is Dracula's theme song. I also like it because it sounds awesome on the Organ. I think that is everything worth mentioning about "Toccata and Fugue in D Minor". Truly, this piano piece deserves 5 stars rating.

I think that is enough of classical music. Dance song wise, I like a lot "World ,Hold On" by Bod Sinclar. The lyrics of this song are really beautiful. The background music is just as wonderful. I first heard this song on the radio. It was featured there for quite a long time. From time to time, I listen to it in parties. I think that is everything worth mentioning about this song. Truly, "World, Hold On" deserves 5 stars rating.

The last song worth mentioning is "Tranquilize". It was sang by the Killers with Lou Reed. I first heard this song in Fuse. There they featured the "Tranquilize" music video. The song is about a random guy who visited his old home. He starts remembering scenes from his childhood. The music video also goes along the same lines. I like best the second half of the song. It is there where the bitter memories start popping up. My favorite lines are : I got a feeling that they're gonna break down the door/ I got a feeling that they're gonna go back for more/ See I was thinking that I lost my mind / But it's getting to been getting to me all this time / And it don't stop dragging me down. These lines are sang most beautifully by Lou Reed. Truly, "Tranquilize" deserves 5 stars rating. I hope that you liked these featured songs a lot. They are all 5 stars worthy.

Yuehui Tang 5 Stars Worthy Digital Art Wallpapers

Today, I wanted to feature 5 amassing artworks by Yuehui Tang. He is a talented artist from CG Society. He also hosts his artworks in DA. Now let us stars with the reviews. The first digital art wallpaper is called "Beijing Opera". Needless to say, we have have an actress in a Beijing Opera. Her entire dress is lovely ornamented. I like best the empress crown. It is reminiscent of crowns worn by Chinese Empresses. Her poses are a common sight in Beijing Operas. The decorative background also works pretty well. This lovely digital art by Yuehui Tang deserves 5 stars rating.

This lovely digital art is called Beautiful Lilac. Needless to say, lilac is a kind of flower. Here we see three examples of the lilac. We see then in their natural forms in her hair. Within the curls, we see them in the form of jewelry. They are also visible in a ring form. Lastly, we see them in her tattoos. Overall, these decorations are really pretty. Truly, Yuehui Tang deserves 5 stars rating.

This next digital art is called "Black Angel". She has some lovely tattoos. I like how her feathers are breaking up.  The scenery of the mountains also works pretty well. Truly, this cutie deserves 5 stars rating.

This next painting is called "Lizard". Needless to say, this painting is about the little lizard in the girl's hand. His tail is unnaturally long. Her dress and hair is decorated with butterflies and ladybugs. Overall, the composition is really creepy. Once again, Yuehui Tang shows that he is a 5 stars worthy digital artist.

This next painting is called "Portal". She looks cute with her white dress. The flowing water effect also works pretty well. In the background, we see two moons. She has passed from her world to ours. Truly, this cutie deserves 5 stars rating.

The last digital art shows a lady in black. She is being swept up by the wind. The artwork is called "The Autumn Wind". The title is pretty self explanatory. Her black hair is really pretty. Cryinghorn Andrius Balciunas Digital Artist 5 Stars worthy

Today, I wanted to review some amassing digital art wallpapers by Cryinghorn. He is a talented DA artist from Kaunas, Lithuania. He mostly illustrates pretty girls. Speaking of which, here we have the first featured digital art wallpaper. It is called "Open Green". It is about the pretty green dress of this lady. The fabric of the dress looks quite realistic. The green sphere is also pretty cool. Truly, this Cryinghorn digital art wallpaper deserves 5 stars rating.

This next digital art wallpaper by Cryinghorn is called "Shadow Conscious". This work is about the dark, mysterious beauty of this maiden. She is shadowy both in look and posture. The only source of color comes from her mysterious blue eyes. Truly, this cutie deserves 5 stars rating.

This next digital art is called "Falling Blossom". The title is pretty self explanatory.  Here we see a maiden in a pretty violet dress. She is flying across a shower of petals. Together, this makes a pretty lovely digital art wallpaper. This Cryinghorn cutie deserves 5 stars rating.

This next lovely digital art wallpaper is a bit different from Cryinghorn's regular work. For starters, this one has a well defined scenery. The patterns all over it are luxurious. This artwork is called "Homesick". The way the girl is looking out the window goes well with the theme. She definitely looks homesick to me. The bottom of her dress seems to blend into the floor. She has been there for so long that she has become one with her home. The chains in the floor allude to how she is a prisoner in her own home. Truly, this lovely digital art deserves 5 stars rating.

This last digital art wallpaper is called Miss Vixi. The faded background scenery looks a bit odd around the edges. Regardless, the girl looks cute in her grey dress. It is rather a strange choice in color. Plus, the girl does not seem to have much hair. Overall, she came out really cute. As usual, Cryinghorn has made quite the lovely fabric pattern. I think that is everything worth mentioning about Miss Vixi. Truly, Cryinghorn has made another 5 stars worthy beauty. I hope that you liked these feature digital art wallpapers.

 Adrian Borda traditional artist DA 5 Stars worthy

Today, I wanted to review three lovely paintings by Adrian Borda. He is a traditional artist that features his artwork in DeviantArt. Now, let us review "She Had Flowers in her Hair". This painting was inspired by Gustave Klimt's "The Kiss". Like "The Kiss", we see a guy who wants to kiss his maiden. Unlike Klimt's painting, the maiden's face is more expressive. She also seems to be dying. Judging by the title, Borda speaks of the maiden in the past tense. She is dying in a beautiful fashion. As for the decoration, it is painted Art Nouveau style. Art Nouveau is all about the decorative art and pattern. It mostly exploits organic lines typical of Gothic art. As such, we have this cute painting. In any case, Borda's lovely painting deserves 5 stars rating.  

According to Borda, this painting is about a mushroom that produces hallucinations. Those who ate it produced some very odd music. The clown in the center embodies the kind of music produced by that mushroom. In the background, we see the audience. Their faces are distorted by the mushroom they consumed. Aside from the theme, the clown is reminiscence of Art Nouveau. All over it, we see lovely decorative patterns. Truly, this wonderful painting by Borda deserves 5 stars rating.

This last painting is called "Love kills Slowly II". It is a surrealism painting. I love the way it looks. The rose with the water droplets looks great. The two petals in the foreground looks like broken hearts. Behind the glass, we see a potion that has the title of this painting. As for the rose with the feather quill, it looks like a heart impaled by an arrow. Overall, this is an extremely pretty painting. Truly, this lovely traditional painting deserves 5 stars rating. Today, I wanted to feature some amassing digital art wallpapers. They were all made by Sakimichan. Sakimichan is a group of digital artists from Japan. From time to time, they illustrate fanarts of anime shows. Keeping this in mind, I will now start rating their artwork. The first digital art wallpaper is called "Birth of a Mermaid". In the center, we see a mermaid inside an egg. All about her, other mermaids are swimming about. Overall, this digital art wallpaper is really pretty. Truly, Sakimichan deserves 5 stars rating.

This lovely digital art is called "Deviant Girl". She is a commissioned work. She embodies all the female artists from deviant art. Her headphones and necklaces have the deviant art logo. This pretty maiden by Sakimichan deserves 5 stars rating.

This digital art wallpaper is called "Dragon Boy". It is a pretty straight forward kind of artwork. The dragon is from China. The boy too is from there. Like the dragon, he has the same color scheme. My only issue with this kid is that his ears a bit too pointy. Regardless, Sakimichan has shown that they are 5 stars worthy artists.

This next digital art is called "Elf Girl". Like your usual Sakimichan digital art wallpapers, we have a cute portrait. All the details on this maiden are really pretty. She seems to be sprouting from a flower bud. Like most elves, she was born from a tree. Truly, this cutie deserves 5 stars rating.

In this digital art wallpaper, we see a "Fire Vampire". The vampire part is noticed on her fangs. The flame hair also works pretty well. This cutie deserves 5 stars rating.

This digital art is called "Game Girl". She embodies the mysterious beauty of most video game female protagonist. All about her we see some odd grass and spheres. Yeah, spheres are pretty popular in the gaming world. Regardless, this cutie by Sakimichan deserves 5 stars rating.

This next digital art shows a personification of a gold fish. Like most gold fishes, this maiden has big lips. Her hair is decorated with gold fish parts. What I like best is the odd scale patterns on her skin. Truly, her lovely lips has earned her 5 stars rating.

This next digital art wallpaper shows a personification of a griffin. As such, this guy has a hawk like face. His face is very scary. However, his eyes are extremely pretty. As for his hair and horns, they have the looks of a regular griffin. Overall, this "Griffin Boy" is a 5 stars worthy cutie.

In this digital art, we see a lovely harpy. Her design is really pretty. The way she is looking at you is very playful. There is nothing else to this 5 stars worthy digital art wallpaper.

This lovely digital art wallpaper is called "Resurrection". The futuristic angel girl is casting a spell. The magic is flowing into her via her bloody transmutation circle. She seems to be crying a tear of blood. Behind her, we see a pretty cool albino dragon. Once again, we have another lovely Sakimichan digital art wallpaper.

This lovely digital art wallpaper shows a pretty fairy. Her wings are really pretty. Her hair ornaments also work pretty well. This cutie by Sakimichan deserves 5 stars rating.

This lovely digital art wallpaper is called "Creation". Aside from the rainbow hair, I like the angel girl's halo. It looks like Jesus' crown of thorns. The way the light falls on her makes her look heavenly. Truly, this cutie deserves 5 stars rating.

In this digital art wallpaper, we see a lovely futuristic elf girl. Her robot pointed ears and metal sheet hair looks pretty cool. This next piece by Sakimichan deserves 5 stars rating.

This next piece is called "Silent Glow". Her flowing hair is really cute. I like the flower ornaments in her hair a lot. Let us hurry things up a lot. 5 stars for Sakimichan.

Kelley Harris Digital Art 5 Stars worthy Wallpapers

Today, I wanted to review some lovely digital art wallpapers. These wallpapers were made by Kelley Harris. She features her artwork in her own personal website. From all her forty wallpapers, these four were the only ones worth rating. Keeping this in mind. allow me to begin this review. The first digital art worth rating features Maleficent. She is the evil fairy witch from Disney's "Sleeping Beauty". Harris captured well Maleficent's evil nature. The worms eye view works really well. This view makes it seem that Maleficent is looking at the viewer as if we were a bunch of worms. Her evil crow familiar came out very creepy. The dark blue background makes Maleficent's figure sick out in the foreground. I think that is everything worth mentioning. This lovely digital art wallpaper deserves 5 stars rating.

The following digital art wallpaper features Ursula. She too is a bad girl from the Disney company. Here she is playing around with her magic shell. Judging by its glow, Ursula has already acquired Ariel's singing voice. She is one very cool final boss. This lovely digital art  wallpaper by Kelley Harris deserves 5 stars rating.

Fra Juan Sanchez Cotan Still Life Baroque Spain Paintings

Today, I wanted to review some lovely paintings by Fra Juan Sanchez Cotan. He was the first Spanish painter to specialize solely on still life. Unlike most painters, he did not have the pressure of making commissions  He could focus solely on his art. Those are the perks of being subsidence by the church. Now, its time to review these 5 paintings. Cotan does have a lot more still life. However, these were the few images that were wallpaper sized on the internet.





Allow me to explain the odd window format of this painting. In the old days, they used to display food in a window. Cotan used the form of the paintings to make his still lives look more realistic. Now, here we have this still life. The pickle is in the foreground to create a 3D effect. The black background also makes the figures stick closer to the foreground. What is neat is the open melon. It looks really yummy and a bit green. Truly, this amassing Juan Sanchez Cotan painting deserves 5 stars rating.

Here is another lovely still life. This time, the game fowl is the thing that sticks out the most. The arrangement of the fruits is pretty neat. I like how the birds get smaller as you go up. Overall, this arrangement gives equal weight to all the fruits. However, there is a bit more emphasis on the fowls. Truly, this lovely still life by Juan Sanchez Cotan deserves 5 stars rating.

Here is another lovely still life. At the center of the border, I can see Cotan's signature and the dating of this painting. What I like best are the apples and the lemons. The texture on them looks quite realistic. As usual, we have the pointed vegetables closer to the foreground. Overall, this still life came out pretty realistic. This painting deserves 5 stars rating.

Here is another still life painting. The pretty flowers came out lovely. What is different about this still life is the the different kinds of textures. This is well noted in the red vase. It is a bummer where Cotan got the different kinds of flowers. What I like best are the wild cherries. This lovely still life deserves 5 stars rating.

This is the last still life worth rating. It features four carrots and a cardoon. You know, I never seen a vegetable that odd. I wonder if it is edible. In any case, this last still life by Fra Juan Sanchez Cotan deserves 5 stars rating. I hope that you liked this short baroque art feature. I have more planned for the near future.

Micheal Oswald Digital Art 5 Stars Worthy Wallpapers

Today, I wanted to review some lovely digital art wallpapers. They were all made by Micheal Oswald. He features his artwork in deviant art and in his own website. He mostly does digital art illustration for video game covers. From his artwork, I choose eight pieces that I like a lot. The first digital art shows a pretty blonde girl. This portrait is called "Apple". I do not get why this piece is called as such. Perhaps, Oswald refers to the forbidden fruit. If that is the case, this pretty cutie fits well into his vision. Regardless, this lovely digital art wallpaper deserves 5 stars rating.

The following digital art wallpaper is called "Crocodile Tears". It refers to the tears falling from this mask. I suppose the artist is crafting the mask she will wear today. Overall, this is one original digital art wallpaper. This pretty digital art wallpaper by Micheal Oswald deserves 5 stars rating.

This lovely digital art wallpaper is called "Gold Rush". It is pretty self explanatory. Overall, this is a pretty odd digital art wallpaper. 5 stars for Micheal Oswald.

This digital art wallpaper is called "Old Flame". What I find interesting is that the girl has the Statue of Liberty's torch. The blueish glowing water adds a bit of mystery to this piece. The fireflies also work pretty well. Once again, Micheal Oswald gets 5 stars rating for this digital art wallpaper.

The following digital art wallpaper shows a cute puppet girl. The artwork is called "Play Thing". Needless to say, she is being controlled by someone. If you notice well, one of her eyes has a painted tear. Overall, I find her glare to be very scary. The puppet anatomy also works pretty well. This is one original digital art wallpaper. This lovely cutie of Micheal Oswald deserves 5 stars rating.

This next digital art wallpaper is also pretty original. Here, like Galatea, this bust is coming to life. The marble is turning to skin from the neck down. Her face came out really pretty. The jewelry she wears is a bit tacky. Her hairdo is at least decent enough. Frankly, Micheal Oswald is too much of a guy to understand the delicacy of female jewelry. Regardless, this amassing statue deserves 5 stars rating.

This hot digital art wallpaper is called "Tinker Toy". At first, you imagine that there are two robot chicks hugging. However, both are sharing one torso. As for the scenery, it is a robot making workshop. Needless to say, these robot chicks were costume made. They were made along the same lines as the puppet chick from before. Overall, this lovely digital art wallpaper by Micheal Oswald deserves 5 stars rating.

This last digital art wallpaper is called "Under my Skin". They say that when you love a guy, you kinda feel him under your skin. Following this saying, Micheal Oswald made this lovely digital art wallpaper. The pink background also works pretty well. Truly, this lovely digital art wallpaper deserves 5 stars rating. The Great Gatsby 3D Movie Review 5 stars worthy

A few days ago, I went to see "The Great Gatsby" movie at the Dolphin Moll. I went to see it with my family. After some persuasion, I convinced them to see the movie in 3D. At first, I thought that we were the only idiots watching "The Great Gatsby" in 3D. A few minutes later, the theater was full of people. It had been a long time since I watched a 3D movie. The graphics came out great.





At the start of the film, we saw the green light that the Great Gatsby was always gazing at. The audience is slowly enchanted by that light. Later in the film, the narrator explains its significance. The remake of this film was better than the last three version. The reason being that Leonardo DiCaprio made a Great Gatsby. Truly, DiCaprio made a great Gatsby.

He was exquisite in the part where Gatsby showed his true colors. Like in the book, the director managed to allude well to Gatsby's true nature. Like the rich people, Gatsby was a pretender. As a matter of fact, he was the biggest lair of them all. However, what made him the great Gatsby was that he did it all for love. What I found most creepy were the evil eyes in slums of New York.

For those that never read the book or saw the first movies, I highly recommend this remake. The graphics are exquisite. It is like a new kind of 3D. The best scenes took place during Gatsby's great parties. They were each more extravagant than the last. Overall, there where at least 3 party scenes. The fireworks, the snow, the flowers and the sparkles got in your face a lot. However, what I like best was the 3D snow effect.

The oddest 3D effect came from the lights. In a strange way, it made you feel as if the sun was really in your face. Needless to say, if you stared at it directly you would go blind. Nah, that is a bit of an exaggeration. There was something that I did not like about the movie. The music was a blend of the 1920s music and our modern day music. Needless to say, they had to update the music to attract a  younger audience.

The organ player was was pretty cool. Overall, "The Great Gatsby" was pretty great. Frankly, this remake was the only Great Gatsby that I actually liked. When I was in high school, they tried to shove  "The Great Gatsby" down my throat. The book was pretty boring. The movie versions that followed where not so great, either. However, this new version was amassing. As the saying goes: The fifth time is the charm. In any case, this "The Great Gatsby 3D" movie  is a 5 stars worth movie.

James Barry Romanticism British Artist 1741-1806 Review

Today, I wanted to review some amassing Romanticism paintings by James Barry. James Barry was an Irish painter. What earned him fame where his six paintings called "The Progress of human Culture".He was considered an early romantic painter because of his stubbornness. Instead of painting the way his patrons wanted, he did whatever he felt like.





Naturally, this led him to serious bouts of poverty. He died from an illness after completing his Pandora painting. It is kinda ironic if you think about. In the Greek world, Pandora brought sickness into the world of Man. I find it hilarious that he died because of his Pandora painting. It took many years for people to acknowledge him as a great artist. It was not until 1983, when the art world decided he was a great artist. I think that is enough background information on James Barry. Now, I will review eight of his paintings that I like a lot.  

The first painting worth rating is called "The Education of Achilles". Here we see Achilles studying under Chiron. He was the centaur who taught him how to be a warrior. As he spoke, Achilles busied himself with the harp. That is the instrument he played when he was not fighting. Beside him, we see his shield and his spear. Both are in the forest studying. This shows the ideal Greek education for a boy. Chiron taught Achilles "pidea". Pidea was different from regular education. It is moral education. He taught Achilles how to be a good boy and how to live with moderation. Not just anyone can teach you these moral lessons. In any case, this lovely mythological painting by James Barry deserves 5 stars rating.

The next lovely painting shows Jupiter and Juno. Both represent the ideal Roman marriage. In the Roman world, Zeus stopped being fun. The Romans went out of their way to clean his reputation. Truly, those Romans were major stiff. As such, we see Jupiter about to kiss his Juno. Both are resting inside a cloud. They look pretty cute together. What I like best is how Juno is playing around with her hair and the one of her husband. As for Jupiter, he has his hand beneath her robes. Needless to say, this painting is the best example of Marital Love. Jupiter and Juno know everything about one another. Once again, they will become one in the heavens. This lovely painting by James Barry deserves 5 stars rating.

This painting shows the Climax of King Lear. Because of his stupidity, he cause the death of the only daughter that truly loved him. Unlike his daughter, King Lear managed to survive by killing his executioners. However, his girl was not so lucky. In this scene, we see King Lear crying over the body of his dead daughter. His gaze looks quite insane. The men before him are his allies. They are trying to talk some sense into him. However, the King is caught in his tragic moment. They ask him to resume his throne. However, the pain he has suffered causes him to die. This is the moment before the old man joins his beloved daughter in death. This tragic painting by James Barry deserves 5 stars rating.

In this painting, we see a lovely self portrait of James Barry. This was from his later years. By this time, he had turned into an annoying, angry painter. As such, the artist in this self portrait is showing us one of his artworks. In the background, we see a foot stepping over a snake. It is likely the feet of the virgin who tramples over the devil. Within the painting, we see Pan ,the goat God, in the foreground. For a background, we see more of his faun brethren. Thus, we have a contrast between chaos and salvation. In Barry's hand, we see a pencil that he uses to point as himself. In any case, this stubborn Irishman of a painter deserves 5 stars ratings.

The next painting worth rating is called "Kinderszene".  This genre scene is a bit unusual of James Barry. He was the kind of stubborn artist that like grand subjects. This was from the period before he met his betters. Before then, he only cared for his art. After he met richer, better artists, his paintings turned sour. What is lovely about this painting is its sweet innocence. Here a little boy is bringing a bird to a little girl he loves. The puppy beside him shows that the boy is suffering from puppy love.  He really likes that little blonde girl. Since he is a child, the only way he knows how to express his love is by doing nice gestures for his girl. Following this train of thoughts, the boy got a little bird for the girl. What is romantic about this painting is that this is an inaccessible love. A huge wall  is separating the boy from the girl. Truly, this innocent romantic painting by James Barry deserves 5 stars rating.

Here is another self portrait of James Barry. This was an earlier painting. A keen observer will notice that in the last painting, he still wore the same ugly red coat. That is an earlier sign of his poverty. For a background, we see several practice drawings of faces. Like the background figures, Barry is turning around. Truly, this lovely study of faces deserves 5 stars rating.

This last painting is called "The Temptation of Adam". We have all seen 100 different version of this painting. It is interesting how the painter manages to hide their parts using the forbidden fruit. On the floor, we see the snake taking a bite off the apple. This painting implies that the snake too partook of forbidden knowledge. For a background, we see the other animals of the garden of Eden. What is neat is Adam's worried expression.  Umberto Boccioni 1882 - 1916 Italian Futurism 5 Stars Painting Review

Umberto Buccioni was a 5 stars worthy Italian painter and sculpture. Despite his short life, Boccioni managed to produce 100 artworks. His artwork helped shape and define the futurism movement. Due to its relatively new age, it took a while before Boccioni painted in the futurism style. For those that do not know, futurism was an art movement concerned with the future. It glorified speed, youth, violence and technology. At times, Buccini blended his futurism art with cubism and Impressionism.





 Like many great artist of his day, Boccioni wanted to fight for his country. In 1916, he drafted into the Italian army. One day, during an exercise, he was marching with his crew. He had the bad luck of falling from his horse and being trampled by his peers. He was 33 when he died. I guess he was not cut out for army life. Then again, most artists are not cut out for that line of work. I think that is enough background information of Umberto Boccioni. I will now review some of his amassing paintings.

The first painting worth rating is called "Dynamism of a human Body". It is about the blood flow of the human body. Even when we are standing still, our blood is in motion. This eternal flux is represented by these odd red flowing colors. This human body is bursting with life. As you noticed, this figure has some cubism elements. The figures are geometric. Aside from cubism, this painting has a bit of impressionism. It uses a series of complimentary colors to make the painting look more energized. Truly, this healthy blend of elements shows that Buccioni's painting deserves 5 stars rating.

This next painting is called "Mourning". It is painted in the Expressionism style. Expressionism focuses on human emotions. All the colors are meant to show a mood. As such, we see a lot of women crying. The most expressive is the red head. She is being consoled by two old ladies. Naturally, she is the maiden who lost her loved one. Contrasting their black colors we see the vibrant flowers masking the stench of the dead. Between so much life, there lives so much death. On the top left, I can see the wooden coffin. It carries the dead body of the one she loves. Truly, this depressing Expressionistic painting of Umberto Boccioni deserves 5 stars rating.

This next painting is called "Materia". In the center, we see a worker with her hands crossed. Her hands look rough and worn. For a background, we see chimneys and smoke coming out of it. Such chimneys allude to the city. The materials that this city produces keeps the place running. Overall, this paining is about the city and its works of industry. This night scene is in a complete flux. The perspective is rather odd and a bit cubist. I think that is everything worth mentioning about this painting. Truly, it deserves 5 stars rating.

This painting is about a riot in the gallery. All the figures look like their are running. They are all trying desperately to reach for the door. The strokes of this painting are made with pointillism strokes.The lights too seem to portray an agitated mood. Like futurism, this painting exemplifies flux and movement. Everyone is in motion. Their panicked mood has to do with the violent element of futurism. In any case, this lovely early painting of Boccioni deserves 5 stars rating.

This next painting is called "Simultaneous Visions". All about the city there are strange sights and visions. What I find most odd are the orange faces. They are the strange visions in this city. Then again, you kinda see such odd things in a city. Further in the back, we can see people wondering about the street. Like a regular futuristic work, everything is in flux. The perspectives are all distorted and the figures are stylized. As for the colors, they are made of complimentary blues and reds colors. Overall, this painting is a healthy blend of impressionism, cubism and futurism. For this reason, this lovely painting deserves 5 stars rating.

This painting is part of a series of State of Mind paintings. This one refers to those who stand still. It exemplifies the inertia of those not going anywhere. This is further emphasized by the straight lined strokes. The odd blue and black colors makes this painting look depressing. In a way, it seems that these figures are watching us pass by. It is kinda like the flashy impression one sees from inside a train. As you leave, those who stay watch you depart. Therefore, here we see those who stayed behind. Needless to say, these figures are of a cubist nature. Overall, this state of mind painting of Boccioni deserves 5 stars rating.

This painting shows the powers of this street. The scenery is in complete darkness. The only source of light comes from a few street lights. All about, we notice shadowy figures in the darkness.The power of this street come from the people living in it. Via the colors, even the inanimate street comes to life. I think that is everything worth mentioning about this painting. Truly, Boccioni deserves 5 stars rating.

This next painting was Boccioni's big break. He worked really hard to make this painting. It became the headline piece that exemplified futurism. It was showcased all over Europe. Overall,this painting is about a parade. The biggest figures are the horses being ridden by shadowy figures. What is neat about it are the colors and the motions all around. The scenery in this painting is more realistic. Overall, this painting is a healthy blend of futurism and impressionism. In any case, this lovely painting deserves 5 stars rating.

This depressing painting is about a drinker. He has fallen asleep with the glass still in his hand. His skin is tanned. He seems like he was a worker. Drinking is the only way he manages his problems. Overall, this painting is a blend of impressionism and cubism. This lovely depressing figure deserves 5 stars rating.

This painting is considered to be Boccioni's first futurism painting. It is a bit odd around the edges because a jerk passed his hand over it while the paint was still fresh. This painting depicts a woman looking out the balcony. The sights she sees are making her laugh. Overall, this painting is full of flux and movement. In the center, we see a styled version of the heart of the city. This lovely painting of Umberto Boccioni deserves 5 stars rating. I hope that you liked these featured futurism paintings. Georges de la Tour French Baroque The Caravaggisti 5 Stars worthy Painting

Georges de la Tour was a French Baroque artist. He was a great fan of Caravaggio. Like him, he painted religious scenes using chiaroscuro. However, unlike Caravaggio, La Tour added a well defined light. He used the candles to represent divine light. No one is certain where La Tour learned to paint. Art Scholars  also wonder when and were he saw Caravaggio's work. Not much is known about his life. One day, his family and himself died of the plague. All that remained of La Tour was his artwork. I think that is enough background information about Georges de la Tour. All we know for certain about him is that we hardly know anything about his life.




The first painting shows Mary Magdalene. She was a common subject of La Tour. As such, she is meditating on life after death. Part of her meditations involved looking at the candle. The light represents the grace of God. Before her, we see a mirror. The reflection we see is a skull on top of a Bible. This also alludes to our inevitable death. Like Jesus, we must all die in order to enter the kingdom of heaven. This depressingly dark spooky painting deserves 5 stars rating.

In this painting, we see Saint Sebastian. The maiden in red is tending to his arrow wounds. Now, she is in the middle of taking out the last arrow. She is tending to him very carefully.Her dress has a stylized heart. Beside her, there is a servant holding a lantern. Behind the saint, we see his legionnaire armor. The scene is taking place outside, at night. Truly, these maidens are hiding their actions. They were not supposed to save the saint. Thus, the lantern serves as a symbol of this miraculous save. This lovely painting by Georges de la Tour deserves 5 stars rating.

Here is another Mary Magdalene painting. Aside from the Bible, the Candles, and the Skulls; we see a whip on the table. Her exposed shoulders and the whip allude to a monkish practice of purification. You know, the "pain is the cleanser" ritualistic whipping. Jesus said we must lead by example. However, if I remember correctly, Jesus never whipped himself. It was the Romans who punished him. Regardless, that show of piety was pretty popular during the Counter Reformation period. That point aside, this Mary Magdalene by Georges de la Tour deserves 5 stars rating.

This painting is the most famous work of Georges de la Tour. It is a genre scene with a religious moral lesson. Like we all know, Catholics hate gambling. As such, we see this boy in red about to be cheated of his money. The rich boy in red is focused on his card. However, the other three people at the table are in on the game. The rich matron signals to the maid. She in turn signals to the man in gold. He is in the middle of taking out his ace in the hole. Interesting enough, the cheat is also signaling to us. We are in the perfect position to look at both his cards and the cards of the kids. In a way, the audience partakes in the game. Truly, this loss of innocence painting deserves 5 stars rating.

This next painting follows around the same line. Like before, a young rich kid stumbled upon a bad neighborhood. An old woman is telling him his fortune. On the meantime, her gypsy allies are robbing him blind. The cute girl between himself and the gypsy is stealing his watch. The two girls behind him are picking his pocket. Naturally, this fortune teller is going to be pretty accurate when she tells him that his fortunes look bleak. In any case, this painting deserves 5 stars rating.

During the counter Reformation, the reputation of St. Joseph improved. As Jesus's foster father, it was his duty to teach him the work of men. Here, we see him making a wooden piece. On the meantime, young Jesus is holding up a night light. Both are seeing eye to eye. It is interesting to contrast, the strength of St. Joseph and Jesus fragile legs. Another detail worth mentioning is the wooden plank in the floor. This piece allude to the cross. They were in high demand during Jesus' time. In any case, this painting about the education of Jesus deserves 5 stars rating.

Here is the last Mary Magdalene painting. Here she is gazing at the reflection of the candle in the mirror. The mirror confirms the existence of something. Thus, the reflecting candle confirms the existence of the grace of God. That is the purpose of the mirror in this painting. In any case, this lovely painting deserves 5 stars rating.

In this scene, Joseph fell asleep while reading the scriptures. The day before he was planning on abandoning the Virgin Mary and Baby Jesus. While he slept, he was visited by an angel. Here we see the angel talking with Joseph. The only source of light comes from a candle. The entire scenery is quite humble and mysterious. This lovely painting by Georges de la Tour deserves 5 stars rating.

This next painting is about the education of the virgin. It goes parallel with the Education of Christ. What is neat is the way the virgin Mary is holding her candle. She holds it in quite a feminine way. Before her, is her mother. To her side, we see a laundry bag. This painting represents the ideal education of women. During those days, it was seen highly that women learned to read the bible. I think that is everything worth mentioning. George de la Tour deserves 5 stars rating for this piece.

This last painting shows "The Adoration of the Shepherds". The two figures in the foreground are Joseph and Mary. Joseph is the guy holding up the candle. The scenery is darkened by the extreme chiaroscuro. In a way, this darkness saves la Tour the trouble of illustrating backgrounds. In any case, this last featured painting deserves 5 stars rating. Today, I wanted to feature some lovely digital art wallpapers. They were all made by Cyril Rolando. He is a talented digital artist from deviant art. He mostly does super depressing illustrations.The first digital wallpaper shows a little girl collecting shooting stars. She has a feather in her hair. This shows that she is a little Native American. What is depressing is that she has more stars in her bag, than in the sky. Truly, this amassing Aquasixio digital art wallpaper deserves 5 stars rating.

This next digital art wallpaper is called "Eternal Blues". The center image features a girl playing a saxophone  She is sitting in a fountain made of saxophones. All around, we see more depressing swans. They are picking up the sad music notes that pour from his fountain. Above, we see the moon crying. What is neat about the moon is that his looks are like those of a sad Jazz man. This depressing digital art wallpaper by Aquasixio deserves 5 stars rating.

This pretty digital art is about the sunrise. The scenery is really pretty. What I like best is the little girl with a firefly. There is a tender innocence about this wallpaper. This digital art wallpaper has earned 5 stars for Cyril Rolando.

This is a pretty odd digital art wallpaper. It is part of a series of wallpapers about the boy in the helm. He is a mail man that delivers messages in bottles. During one of his trips, he stumbled upon this ship. Both ships are damage. What I like best is the blue moon. It is interesting how the desert bears the semblance of the sea. This is a pretty cool piece. A boy is charging his electric guitar using lightning. It looks really cool around the edges. 5 stars.

Here is another neat digital art wallpaper. All around the waterfall, we see some weirdos meditating. They are keeping themselves dry using those red Asian umbrellas. Scenery wise, the cherry blossoms work pretty well. This next piece deserves 5 stars rating.

Gustave Courbet Realism French Landscape Paintings

Gustave Courbet was a realism artist. He was concerned with the problems of the poor and the state of art. During his days, realism was not considered fashionable. When his work got rejected by the Salon, he opened his own Pavilion of Realism in front of the Salon. During his time, art was supposed to teach you a lesson. It should also be original and innovative. As a proponent of this new avant garde art, Courbet tried hard to paint in his own unique way.





Courbet's realism entailed painting something from his own life. Therefore, Courbet never painted angels because he never saw one. He also never painted historical paintings. The only subjects he dealt with were events that took place during his life time. For his radical views, he was eventually exiled out of France. He was forced to pay up for the damages caused by some of his associates. He left France to avoid bankruptcy.  In the end, he got depressed and died a drunkard.

I will now rate some of Courbet's lovely painting. This first painting is called "Firemen Running to a Fire". At a certain date, Courbet saw a fire near his workplace. He made this painting based on that event. The main figures in the foreground are firefighters. All about them some people are watching the fire fighters perform their job. The night scenery is pretty realistic. Truly, this lovely painting deserves 5 stars rating.

Here is another realistic scenery. Close to the foreground we see a lady painting. Beside her, I see a little boy. He might be a servant or something. The scenery she is painting is a beach scenery. This relaxing, realistic, harmonic view of nature deserves 5 stars rating.

This next painting shows a realistic forest scenery. The deer passing by makes this scene even more realistic. This painting shows the harmony of nature. Courbet believed that nature was the ideal teacher. It taught men to live via the essentials. In any case, this lovely landscape deserves 5 stars rating.

This is the last featured landscape painting made by Courbet. It focuses on a huge wave during a stormy day. The subject matter borders on romanticism. However, this was painted realistically speaking. Sometimes nature can make its own epic moment, without the aid of imagination. In any case, this lovely wave deserves 5 stars rating.
